MEYLE & MAYER - an early 20th century silver enamel and seed pearl bird brooch, designed as a swallow in flight, suspending a seed pearl within its beak, with polychrome pastel enamel body. Enamel AF. Maker's mark for Meyle & Mayer. Stamped Sterling, depose. Length 4.2cms. Weight 5.2gms.

The lot is in poor overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The seed pearl is irregularly shaped, minor chips and abrasion. There is significant loss and chips to the enamel. General discolouration. Replacement base metal pin.
