Condition Report

CARTIER - an Tank Americaine wrist watch. Reference 2329, serial 774414CD. Signed automatic movement. Silvered dial with Roman numeral hour markers, date aperture to six. 18ct yellow gold case fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with signed 18ct yellow gold deployant clasp. 26mm.

  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement appears to be in a generally good condition with little sign of previous intervention when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Hands appear to be in a generally good condition
  • Glass has noticeable scratches and marks. There are medium scratches visible in all areas of the dial. There is a concentration of them towards the centre also.
  • Case shows light scratches and marks.
  • Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Strap shows wear with visible marks, creasing and discolouration.
  • Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.
