A cultured pearl, diamond and ruby turtle brooch. The semi-baroque cultured pearl body and brilliant-cut diamond shell, to the pave-set diamond limbs, the articulated tail and head with ruby eye detail. Estimated total diamond weight 2cts. Length 4cms. Weight 12.5gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
- Repair to one front leg, has been re-attached.
- Diamond replacements to the front legs, noticeable with magnification, some overlapping.
- The cultured pearl is off-round.
- Cultured pearl is a creamy-white colour, with slight rose and greenish overtones.
- Fairly good skin with some surface blemishes, to include pits.
- Minor nacre damage.
- Fairly good lustre.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- The diamonds are bright.
- Rubies are bright with light abrasion, too small to test.
