A late 19th century gold garnet snake necklace. The front designed as an oval garnet cabochon snake head, suspending a garnet cabochon heart-shape drop, to the graduated snake-link necklace. Length 38.5cms. Weight 31gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
- Garnets well matched. Light scratches to surface. Typical inclusions within garnets.
- The colour of the necklace and the snake head and pendant are not perfectly well matched. The piece is possibly the marriage of two late 19th century components.
