ARR Peter Howson, (b.1958) Crucifixion, an epic representation of Christ on the Cross surrounded by flames and a red sky Oil on canvas, signed lower left 94.5" x 71", (240cm x 180cm) Flowers Gallery label verso Provenance: Exhibited in 2013 at the St. Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art, Glasgow, where it was hung in the same location as its precursor, Salvador Dali's 'St. John of the Cross'.
