JOB SUMMARY
Fellows & Sons are specialist auctioneers based in Birmingham. Due to the volume of work a new post is being created in our Watch Department to assist with cataloguing of our watch sales. This vacancy is available immediately.

PERSONNEL SPECIFICATION
Qualifications No specific qualifications are strictly necessary but an interest in the area watches and a background of working with watches would be preferable.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Computer literacy, conversant with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (further Navision and Photoshop training with be provided). Working knowledge of the internet, particularly in respect of research.
EXPERIENCE
Previous experience of the watch trade or luxury watch retail environment would be preferred.

DETAILED DUTIES
Cataloguing
- To catalogue the Watch sale and the watch section in the Secondhand Jewellery sale.
- To produce accurate and concise condition reports.
Auction Preparation
- To assist with photography and re-naming of lots
- To assist with ticketing and the preparation of the view
- To assist with viewing and sale day, including telephone bidding
- To help opening of parcels and sorting of consignments if necessary
- To help with collections and sending out of goods after the sale.
