On Thursday 19th January Fellows held their first Antique & Modern Jewellery auction of the year.
One of the show shopping lots to feature in the sale was 56- a Victorian diamond rivieré necklace, circa 1870. Estimated at £10,000 - £15,000 this striking piece sold for a staggering £23,000 under the hammer.
Lot 422 was another piece from the Victorian era. The diamond and ruby brooch, circa 1870 did not fail to amaze and reached its top estimate of £18,000.
Another item in the auction which kept bidders on their toes was lot 392. The natural pearl sautoir was estimated at £1,800 - £2,200 but sold for more than double its highest estimate at £4,700.
Lot 16 - A diamond single-stone ring, weighing 2.92cts also made Thursday's auction an exciting one to watch. The stunning piece sold for £23,600 after capturing the attention of bidders.
