DIAMOND SELLS FOR £95,000 AT FELLOWS
| An exquisite diamond has been sold by Fellows & Sons in Birmingham for £95,000.
The stone is a modified Asscher cut of 5.59cts, with a GIA certificate stating it to be VVS2 clarity and F colour. It was originally one part of a pair of earrings and could be remounted into a new piece of jewellery, most probably a ring. Richard Slater, senior valuer at Fellows & Sons, said: "We were delighted to have sold this truly beautiful diamond with its stunning design reflected in the price." It featured in an Antique & Modern Jewellery sale at Fellows' auction house in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, which also sold an Art Deco diamond and emerald bracelet for £15,000 and a sapphire and diamond necklet for £14,000. |
