ROLEX - a stainless steel manual wind gentleman's Cosmograph chronograph wrist watch circa 1970, the matt black dial with hourly applied steel batons, subsidiary minute and hour recorder dials to three and six o'clock respectively, subsidiary seconds to nine o'clock, tonneau case with black enamel calibrated bezel fitted to a steel Oyster bracelet with folding Oyster clasp numbered 357 to initial link and 783519 below, screw down crown and pushers, 17 jewel calibre 727 movement with pillar governed chronograph work. Serial number 3046553, model number 6265. Case diameter 37mm. Together with box, instructions, original tag and original parts replaced in the last service.

Condition Report:


Rolex watch, movement is currently functioning and appears to be in a generally good condition. There are a few scratches and nibbling to screw heads as a consequence of past servicing, scratched numbered to the inside case back indicate dates of previous services. Movement Calibre: 727 nside Case Back Numbered: 6262 racelet Numbered: 357 to initial link, 7835 19 to next link odel Number: 6265 erial Number: 3046553 Serial number dates the watch to circa 1970 however dial believed to date to the earlier 6240 model issued in the late 1960's. Replacement Parts (all contained in a plastic box and sold together with the watch): lastic glass ubber gasket ushers and their retaining screws and gaskets rown endant pipe and spring Case and bracelet are scratched and scuffed as a result of general wear though appear to have been refinishing in the not too distant past. Worst marks being a dent to the clasp measuring around 0.3mm in length and a graze to second link out
