Condition Report

A late Victorian 18ct gold diamond and sapphire five-stone ring. The three old-cut diamonds with oval-shape sapphire spacers to the scrolling gallery and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.45ct. Hallmarks for Chester, 1900. Weight 3.1gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition fair. There are slight scratches to the ring in keeping with slight wear. The diamonds are heavily included with profuse inclusions throughout, the durability is possibly impaired. There are surface reaching inclusions to a couple. Dimensions of central diamond 3.7 by 3.9 by 3.1mm. The sapphires are a medium blue with a fair to medium saturation of colour. The sapphires have possibly been added/replaced.
