A silver-mounted tortoiseshell dressing table clock. Callow, Mount Street, London, having a 1" white circular Arabic dial with minute track, inscribed "8 DAYS CALLOW Mount Street W.", with back-wound movement, the square case with white-enamelled border and silver easel support engraved "Callow of Mount St" and hallmarked London, Thomas Callow & Son, 1913, 2.75", (7cm) square.

Purchasing information-
Dial - name inscription blacking faded; dial cracking at 5 and 8; some crude infill. Movement - uninspected and untested but ticks when prompted. Case - vertical crack to upper right side of face. Nicks and restoration to right side of lower edge. Rear door frame slightly out of shape. Rubbing to corners of white enamel. General tarnishing. Maker's mark rubbed but legible.
