An early 20th century gold gem-set locket. Of oval outline, the heart-shape ruby cabochon and single-cut diamond crossed arrows motif with pierced scrolling foliate border, to the similarly pierced reverse engraved 'Mon Coeur Perce', suspended from a scrolling foliate engraved surmount. French assay marks. Length 4cms. Weight 12.2gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Some surface scratches and minor discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.
- Locket with bevelled glass compartment to one side of the interior.
- Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
- Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Ruby is in a closed back setting, presumed foil back. Ruby appears a deep medium slightly purplish red hue.
