On Thursday 13th December Fellows’ held their last auction of 2012. The Jewellery, Watches & Gifts sale was packed full of items perfect for that unique Christmas present.
One item that particularly caught the attention of bidders was lot 307 – a platinum diamond snowflake pendant by Tiffany & Co. The delicate snowflake design set with 13 brilliant-cut diamonds and suspended from a belcher-link chain was estimated at £500 - £700.
Festive fever was certainly in the air as those in the saleroom, online and on the telephones frantically fought to outbid one another.
The hammer eventually came down at an impressive £1,100.
