Auction Results: Watches

Amongst the many highlights was a stainless steel Blancpain chronograph wrist watch (lot 4). Designed with a white dial and silvered Roman numerals, this stylish piece from one of the most venerable Swiss brands was estimated at £600 - £800. After attracting much attention from bidders the hammer came down at £2000.

 

 

Lot 52 – A stainless steel automatic Jaeger-Lecoultre Master Compressor Geographic wrist watch was also a favourite on the day. The complicated dial and sporty case design generated considerable interest and the piece reached £3,600.

 

 

Another auction highlight was lot 50 – a lady’s limited edition stainless steel and white resin quartz Hublot ‘Big Bang’ wrist watch, created in aid of the Smiling Children charity. Estimated at £1,400 - £1,800, this distinctive piece set with 126 diamonds sold for £2,100.

 

 

An 18k gold automatic Tissot T-Gold Bridgeport chronograph wrist watch (lot 159) also went above and beyond its estimated due to high demand in the saleroom and online, selling for £980.
