Condition Report

An Egyptian Revival gem-set necklace. Depicting a coral, turquoise and lapis lazuli cabochon Horus and ankh, to the similarly-set and tapered bead chain and domed push-piece clasp. Egyptian marks. Length 66.5cms. Total weight 192.3gms. Coral untested.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Two beads fractured.
  • Stones in good to fair condition with some abrasion, minor nibbles and small chips to the edges.

  • Length of pendant approximately 10.7cms.
  • Electronically tests as 18ct gold.
  • Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
