A pair of late Georgian silver and 18ct gold Colombian emerald and diamond earrings. Each designed as a pear-shape emerald, with old-cut diamond surround and similarly-cut diamond graduated line surmount. Verbal from GCS, stating Colombia, minor enhancement. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct. Length 3.5cms. Weight 6.4gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
- Earrings have been adapted, solder lines visible to surmount at reverse, replacement fittings, replacement fittings with 18ct gold hallmarks for Birmingham.
- Diamonds fairly matched.
- Diamonds fairly bright.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Some diamonds drawing slightly more colour tint than the others.
- Diamonds with small inclusions.
- Emeralds are a well matched, medium slightly bluish-green, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions, some surface reaching.
- Emeralds are in good condition with minor abrasions, small nibbles to the facets.
- Estimated dimensions of one emerald 7.4 by 6 by 3mms.
- With fixed posts for pierced ears.
