Condition Report

FAVERO - an 18ct gold tourmaline and diamond ring. The rectangular-shape green tourmaline, with brilliant-cut diamond surround and sides. Signed Favero. Tourmaline weight 5.54cts, total diamond weight 0.19ct, each stamped to band. Hallmarks for Sheffield. Ring size P1/2. Weight 7.5gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Some wear to the white metal plating, possibly resized.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamonds with very minor, few inclusions visible under 10x.
  • Tourmaline shows a bright, deep slightly bluish green with yellowy green pleochroism.
  • Estimated dimensions of tourmaline 12.4 by 9.5 by 6.2mms.
  • Tourmaline with nicks and slight abrasion.
  • Marked to band with later hallmarks. Italian marks. Favero maker's mark, TM.Ct5.54 and D.Ct.0.19.
