A late 17th century gold Stuart crystal Memento Mori portrait miniature ring. The portrait of Charles I, beneath a square-shape rock crystal, with scrolling engraved surround and black and white enamel arcaded gallery. Approximate ring size P1/2. Weight 2.9gms. With later S.J. Phillips case.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Portrait with dirt and possible discolouration to the surface.
- Some distortion to the bezel setting, with possible replacement rock crystal.
- Rock crystal with some nicks and abrasions to facets and facet edges.
- Enamel with some small chips and abrasions.
