Condition Report

EBEL - a gentleman's 1911 BTR chronograph wrist watch. Stainless steel case with black rubber bezel and exhibition case back. Reference E9137L73, serial A108848. Signed automatic calibre 137. Black dial. Fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with signed stainless steel deployant clasp. 45mm. Box and papers.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning. The chronograph counts one minute, but the hour counter has not been tested due to time constraints.
  • Movement appears to be in a generally good condition with little sign of previous intervention when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Hands appear to be in a generally good condition.
  • Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case shows light scratches and marks.
  • Crown does not screw down and will require attention, otherwise it has light scratches and marking.
  • Strap is in a poor condition with noticeable wear, marks, creasing and discolouration. Strap is broken and not attached to the top of the watch.
  • Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches.

    This lot comes with a box with general wear and papers dated 4-7-09.
