Condition Report

A 19th century French gilt bronze and marble clock, the case surmounted with a figure of a classical female reading from a book, supported against an elaborate case decorated with oak leaves and scrolls, the glazed hinged panelled door opening to a white circular enamelled dial, the black painted outer track with Arabic numerals, the inner track with Roman numerals further detailed "Deniere F. T De Bronzes A. Paris", the whole upon a white marble base with pierced frieze, the rouge marble plinth stand upon bun style feet, 20.5" x 27.5" (52,25cm x 70cm).
