Condition Report

A Burmese sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The rectangular-shape pink sapphire, with vari-cut diamond surrounds and shoulders. Verbal from GCS, stating Burma, no heat. Estimated dimensions of sapphire 6.5 by 5.4 by 3.3mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct. Ring size M1/2. Weight 2.7gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Some scratches in keeping with general wear.
  • Band shows evidence of repair/ resize.
  • Diamonds are a mix of single, rose and old-cuts.
  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
  • Diamonds have mostly small scattered inclusions, few with surface reaching feathers.

  • Sapphire is a medium slightly reddish pink hue, well saturated.
  • Sapphire in good condition with minor abrasions.

  • Dimensions of ring head 11.9 by 10.8mms.
