An early 20th century gold Thai ruby, diamond and gem-set ring. The graduated oval-shape ruby and pink paste line, with old-cut diamond double spacers. Verbal from GCS, stating Thailand, no heat and heated. Estimated dimensions of principal ruby 7.7 by 5.8 by 3.8mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Ring size S. Weight 4.3gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

- Band shows evidence of resize.
- Some claws worn, in need of attention.
- Diamonds bright.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Rubies medium purplish red, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
- Rubies in fair condition with moderate abrasion and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
