Condition Report

An early 20th century gold enamel, diamond and seed pearl brooch. The rose-cut diamond double heart and bow motif, atop a blue guilloche enamel heart, with white enamel surround and seed pearl border. Length 2.5cms. Weight 6gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Comprising antique components of a similar age.

  • Seed pearls are probable replacements.

  • Seed pearls generally in good condition, with some abrasions.
  • Individual cut, size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment.

  • Evidence of repair work can be seen towards the pin.

  • Enamel in fair condition with some small chips and abrasions.
