Condition Report

An early 20th century 15ct gold seed pearl necklace. The split pearl stylised harp panel, suspending two similarly-set floral cluster drops, with trace-link back-chain. Length 39cms. Weight 13gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Split pearls have a creamy white body colour, with rose and greenish overtones

  • Some split pearls with some nacre damage

  • Length of split pearl cluster drop 6.3cms.

  • Metal electronically tests as 15ct gold.

  • Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
