Condition Report

A pair of sapphire and diamond earrings. Each designed as an oval-shape sapphire and single-cut diamond cluster, suspended from a similarly-cut diamond foliate surmount and line spacer. Estimated total diamond weight 0.75ct. Length 5.5cms. Weight 10.2gms.

  • Overall condition good. Some scratches and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
  • Diamonds have few, minor inclusions, few with surface reaching feathers.

  • Sapphires are a well matched, medium deep, violetish blue hue, well saturated.
  • Sapphires in good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Estimated dimensions of larger sapphire 7 by 5.5 by 3.4mms.
  • With fixed post and hinged fittings for pierced ears.

  • Width (at widest) 12mms.
