Condition Report
A ruby and split pearl hinged bangle. Designed as a circular-shape ruby and split pearl floral cluster, with similarly-set foliate sides, atop the openwork bangle. Inner diameter 6cms. Weight 12.5gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Appears to have been adapted from a different item of jewellery.
- Some sections of the bangle appear slightly out of shape.
- Some replacement gems.
- Appears to be one imitation pearl to the central floral cluster and two to one of the foliate cluster sides.
- One replacement red gem to the end of one of the foliate clusters.
- Rubies are a fairly well matched medium pinkish red hue, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
- Rubies in good condition with minor abrasions.
- Red gem to the foliate cluster with some small chips.
- Split pearls are a creamy white colour, with rose and greenish overtones.
- Split pearls generally in good condition with minor abrasions, some with moderate nacre damage.
- Width (at widest) 1.3cms.
