Condition Report

A Kashmir sapphire and rose-cut diamond dress ring. With report 100522, dated 8th June 2018, from SSEF, stating 11.945cts, Kashmir, no heat. With report 17693, dated 20th August 2019, from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory, stating 11.94cts, Kashmir, no heat. Ring size K1/2. 10.4gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. General light marks and wear in keeping with age.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds generally appear fairly bright. Some with typical small nicks and cavities.

  • Please see reports for full details of the sapphire.
  • Sapphire is a medium slightly violet blue hue, well saturated, with good clarity. Slight windowing effect.

  • Sapphire in good condition, with some light marks and scracthes to some facets and facet edges.

  • Length of ring head 2.2cms.

  • White metal tests as platinum, yellow metal tests as approximately 15ct gold.
  • Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
