An 18th Century Porcelain Figure of Buddha

The figure, dating from the Qianlong period (1736-1795), drew applause from a packed saleroom as it sold for £19,000 on the hammer. The price compares with figures of other items from this period sold by international auction houses and demonstrates the growth of Fellows Antiques & Fine Art Department, as well as, Fellows' ability to successfully market high quality pieces to a national and international audience thanks to our investment in the latest technology.

Fellows’ next auction of Antiques & Fine Art will be held in late November and already contains a special item, a large oil on canvas by the celebrated artist Robert Lenkiewicz, estimated at £15,000-20,000.
