Lot Description

A continental enamel brooch, the main circular concave panel has canetille style decoration with blue and red enamel detail and suspended shaped enamel panels, above a large scrolling rope design wire and enamel drop with attached safety chain. Length 7.5cms. Safety chain later addition.

Condition Report

Overall good condition, with light surface scratches and some marks from when it was cast. Some of the circles of wire on the suspended dropper are bent slightly. The pin wobbles and is quite loose on its hinge.
