Lot Description

A mid 20th century amethyst and diamond ring. The rectangular-shape amethyst to the pierced single-cut diamond shoulders and plain band. Dimensions of amethyst 10.7 by 9.3 by 7mm. See Plate 6.

Condition Report

The ring is in overall good condition. The ring shank is slightly off centre. The ring shank has also thinned with age. The diamond are quite bright. Tiger stripe inclusions can be seen within the amethyst. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen, general wear.
