Lot Description

A paste tiara, of openwork design, the pear-shape colourless pastes, and circular-shape colourless paste arcs, to the headband with elastic clasp. Inner diameter approximately 15cms.

Overall condition good to fair. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Glue residue with a yellow hue is visible in places. Some of the pastes are slightly yellow. Pastes are foil-backed. The band has become detached from the paste panel in three places. It has been repaired/re-attached with wire in one place and with soft solder in another. The elastic has become stretched and very slightly frayed.
