Lot Description

Two pairs of 1930's four divide silver toast racks of rectangular form. Hallmarked Harrods Ltd (Richard Woodman Burbridge) Birmingham 1932 and James Dixon & Sons Ltd Sheffield 1934. Gross combined weight 10.5 ozt (329.5 grams). (2).

The toast racks display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor dints and miss-shaping of the dividers. Three wobble a little on a flat surface. The slightly smaller pair measuring 3 inches (7.5 cm) in length and the larger pair 3 1/8 inches (8 cm). The hallmarks are clear and legible, Sheffield pair also numbered 981 5.
