A mid-twentieth century silver compact of square form, engine turned decoration and classical style gold tone inlay. Hallmarked Birmingham 1952. Width measuring 2 3/8 inches (6 cm), weight 3.2 ozt (100 grams).

The compact appears in very good overall condition displaying light general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing. The hallmarks are clear and legible, the maker’s mark reads W.G. Ltd.
