A selection of opal and synthetic opal jewellery, to include an early 20th century silver opal bar brooch, a boulder opal ring, together with a black enamel ring studded with synthetic opal cabochons. Length of brooch 5.7cms. Total weight 37.8gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The boulder opal is mostly rock matrix with small scattered sections of opal. Ring sizes M and P 1/2. The bar brooch bar is bent. Replacement base metal fittings. The opal has veins of lighter patches of opal with no play of colour. The play of colour is fair, predominantly green and blue. Moderate abrasion.
