Lot Description

An early 20th century gold garnet and split pearl cluster ring, the mid 19th century cushion-shape garnet and split pearl cluster, to the early 20th century 18ct gold band. Total weight 8.2gms.

The lot is in good to fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Inside of band with acid staining and some slightly heavier scratches. Personal inscription "JHL 12,7,00 HAM". Band stamped 18ct. Width of band 0.4cm. The gem-section is a later addition. Garnet appears foil back with a purply red hue. Moderate abrasion. Split pearls well matched. Length of ring head 1.4cms. Ring size T.
