Lot Description

A open face pocket watch by Griffith & Son. Hallmarked London 1869. Silver case. Signed key wind full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 51mm.

<li>Movement is currently functioning.

<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.

<li>Dial appears to be in an average condition with some light marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.  There is a crack to the dial near the 12 o'clock hour marker. Some black marks are also visible to the naked eye.

<li>Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing

<li>Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.  

<li>Case shows scratches, marks and dints. <p>
