Lot Description

A mid Victorian 18ct gold mourning ring. The rectangular-shape woven hair panel, within a scroll embossed surround, to the similarly designed shoulders and tapered band. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1861. Weight 4.5gms.

<li>Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>The glass panel is missing to the hair panel.

<li>There is significant wear to the shoulders of the ring, where the scroll embossed detail has worn away.

<li>Slight wear to inner hallmark.
