A late Victorian 15ct gold enamel mourning brooch. The replacement bronzed white metal cameo, depicting Demeter, to the black enamel and engraved scrolling border. Length 5.3cms. Total weight 28.3gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches scuffs and discolouration in keeping with general wear and age. There are some soft solder repairs to the side. The reverse has a vacant oval-shape panel. The cameo has wear to some of the raised areas with a small patch of the white metal and could benefit from a clean. The enamel is in good condition with small scratches and minor chips.
