Lot Description

A mid 19th century gold gem-set sentimental harp brooch. The harp with scrolling cannetille and foliate motif, oval-shape ruby highlight and chain suspending a turquoise forget-me-not, the reverse with glazed hair panel. Length 4cms. Weight 4.8gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.



<li>Slight discolouration and unevenness to the reverse, possible repair/alteration.

<li>Ruby is in a closed setting, possibly foil back, appears a medium slightly purplish red hue.<p>

<li>Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
