Lot Description

A mid Georgian gold memorial clasp and an early Victorian memorial brooch. Both with central hair panels, the rectangular push-piece clasp with split pearl surround, the brooch with engraved surround. Lengths 1.9 and 2.7cms. Weight 6gms.

Condition Report

The condition of this lot is fair, with surface scratches and dints in keeping with age and wear. The clasp has a personal engraving to the reverse reading 'Priscilla Jackson Obt 26 Oct 1810 At 29'. Glass to the same is cracked through the centre. Fine scratches to brooch glass.
