Lot Description

A mid Victorian gold memorial bracelet. Designed as a gold oval memorial panel clasp with domed glass front enclosing the monogram CH and a lock of hair, with personal engraving to the reverse with a velvet bracelet strap. Weight 32.3gms.

Condition Report

The condition of this lot is good to fair, with surface scratches to the glass and metal in keeping with general wear. The inscription to the reverse reads 'Holker Good Friday 1879. 'He Giveth His Beloved Sleep'. Velvet strap is not attached to the clasp at all points and may benefit from repair.
