A 1940's silver cream jug, the octagonal form with bulbous body and reeded rims. Hallmarked S Blanckensee & Sons Ltd, Birmingham 1940. Height measuring 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm), weight 3.3 ozt (103 grams).

The jug appears in good overall condition, displaying some general light surface wear, marks and scratches. Some minor dints. The hallmarks are a little rubbed but still clearly legible.
