Lot Description
A late Victorian 9ct gold hinged memorial ring. Designed as a rectangular compartment with hinged cover set with a red gem, opening to reveal an oval shape panel with photograph inside, engraved foliate shoulders and lid. Glazing to inner oval panel deficient. Hallmark for Birmingham, 1887. Ring size N. Weight 2gms.

The condition of this lot is fair. There are surface scratches and marks to the metal in keeping with age and wear. The hinged cover closes but not very firmly. There is a small black and white photograph beneath the cover. No sign of resizing evident.
