Lot Description

A late Victorian garnet, enamel and split pearl brooch. Of diamond shape, the overlaid ribbon-like shapes, with black enamel stripes, to the central square panel with applied garnet with split-pearl surround. Length 3.2cms. Weight 8.1gms.

The condition of this lot is fair, with light marks to the metal in keeping with age and general wear. There is some loss to the black enamel stripes. The split pearl setting is loose and revolves.
