Lot Description

An Edwardian silver shell dish raised on three foliate scroll feet, hallmarked Horace Woodward & Co Ltd., London 1903, length measuring 6 1/8 inches (15.5 cm). Together with a later silver dish of fluted circular form, hallmarked Sheffield 1977 with maker's mark E S above C, maximum diameter measuring 6 inches (15.2 cm). Weight 7.84 ozt (244 grams). (2).

Postage: Postable

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

Both dishes appear in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general wear, surface marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. The shell dish displays a few minor dints and some slightly heavier tarnishing and would benefit from a clean and polish. There are also a few heavier marks visible to the plain centre. Residues of a sticker to the underside of the later dish. Hallmarks are clear and legible, some slight rubbing to those on the shell dish.
