A late Victorian gold and onyx locket. Of oval outline, the front with an applied, collet-set onyx cross, to the fanned wirework surround and rope-twist detail surmount loop. Length 5.4cms. Weight 14.3gms.

The overall condition of the lot is fair, with surface scratches, dints and tarnish to the gold in keeping with general wear. The onyx has chips and nibble to the edge and has cracked though the lower arm of the cross.
