Condition Report
In fair to good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor loss of definition to the reeded decoration on the sugar tongs, one stem is slightly creased, engraved with the initials 'M W'. The blade of the George Unite ivory handled butter knife is slightly twisted at the join. The other ivory handled example is more twisted and mis-shaped at the stem and has gaps between the joins, the tip of the blade is also slightly bent and there is a hairline crack to the ivory handle, it is hallmarked Birmingham, date letter illegible, maker's mark possibly for Samuel Pemberton, lion passant and duty mark rubbed but legible. Majority of other hallmarks clear and legible. This lot may have export issues, for customers outside of the EU, please note that it is the buyers responsibility to adhere to any import/export requirements.
