Lot Description

A late 19th century white marble and bronze mounted French clock garniture, the clock with white enamelled circular dial and blue painted Roman and Arabic numerals, detailed "Boursier Jnr Elve De Lapavte A Paris", the twin train mechanism striking upon a domed bell, the white marble case surmounted by a bronze figure of a seated classical female, 26" X 31" (66cm x 79cm) wide, together with a pair of matching candle holders each of the bronze figures modelled as classical infants, each holding aloft a Cornucopia.
