A large and impressive reproduction simulated tortoiseshell and boulle work clock, the French Empire influenced arch shaped case with hinged glazed panel door, the gilt metal frame decorated with a pierced cast panel depicting a winged female within horse drawn chariot, opening to reveal a brass circular dial with applied enamelled, black painted Roman numeral markers, and twin train mechanism, the base of the case supported by four gilt metal horses, together with a small console table with serpentine shaped front raised upon slender cabriole shaped supports of conforming design, 80.5" (204.5cm) high.
