Lot Description
A George V silver mounted purse, of shaped form with engraved swag decoration to the front and back, hallmarked F J Davis & Co, Birmingham 1916, length 4.5" (11.5cm), plus a silver mounted circular jewellery box, raised on four shell mounted pad feet, the hinged cover opening to reveal a lined interior, with pictorial maker's mark for P. W. Ellis & Co, Canada, and further marked Sterling, diameter 3.25" (8.5cm). Together with a silver plated snuff box with engraved scroll detail and personal inscription, and a silver plated pin cushion modelled as a shoe. (4).

With scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
Silver mounted purse with a number of indentations and knocks, particularly to edges. Purse shuts but does not close flush to in areas. Interior worn with some discolouration.
Silver mounted jewellery box with knocks to feet, and slightly unsteady.
Silver plated snuff box with some nicks to edges and wear to silver plating in areas.
Silver plated pin cushion with some indentations and wear to show detail, cushion worn and discoloured.
